9. Troubleshooting
Error description
No locking authorisation
at ixalo cylinder
Delayed release at cylinder
(cylinder beeps for 10 s)
No release at cylinder (cylin-
der beeps rapidly for 20 s)
LED at cylinder flashes
continuously red
The cylinder beeps for
30 s when the battery is
inserted
Pairing not possible
ixalo programming device
does not switch on
Transponder is authorised
(LED lights up green) but
access is not possible (2x
short beep and cylinder is
not enganging)
The products must not be disposed of as household waste.

Remedy
„ Use authorised transponder

Check access authorisations in
software, re-programme cylinder if
necessary
„ Re-programme the cylinder
„ Synchronise clock of programming
device with PC
„ Update PC system time and
re-programme the cylinder
„ Replace the cylinder battery
(see Chapter 7)

Replace the cylinder battery

„ Program the cylinder with current
programming data using the SXPG
programming device
„ Carry out radio pairing
(see Section 6.1)

Assign cylinder to the correct wall
