Setting up the appliance
Place the appliance
in accordance with the prescribed minimum clearances.
Set up the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated room whose ambient temperature
corresponds to the climate class for which the appliance is designed.
ATTENTION
APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
Leave the appliance to stand for 12 hours after transport to allow the refrigerant to
collect in the compressor. Failure to observe this may damage the compressor and cause
the appliance to fail. This would void all warranty claims.
CLIMATE CLASS
(SN) Extended temperature range
(N) Temperature range
(ST) Subtropical temperature range
(T) Tropical temperature range
Minimum clearances for ventilation
Air circulation at the rear, side and top of the appliance influences energy consumption
and refrigerating (depending on model). It is essential that the minimum clearances for
ventilation of the appliance are observed as shown in the following drawing. Otherwise,
the life of the device is shortened because the compressor is constantly in operation.
