As the device must be
position, except when the device is undergoing Maintenance.
The device must operate without stopping under hydraulic load, except in the case of
prolonged stoppage of water flow (risk of overheating and deposits on the quartz sleeves).
It is preferable to limit the number of times the lamp is switched off/on to maximise its life
span.
If the reactor shuts down, wait 15 minutes for the lamps to cool down to conserve their service
life.
The lamp indicator is a lamp operation LED. If the lamp has been operating for more than 16,000
hours, it should be replaced even if the indicator is lit.
7.4. Important precautions for replacing the cell
When assembling and disassembling the electrolytic cell, it is strongly recommended that
the O-ring be fitted to the electrolytic cell support rather than inserting the O-ring into the
reactor opening before inserting the electrolytic cell, otherwise this could lead to a leak.
The lifespan of the electrolytic cell is very closely linked to compliance with the settings and
instructions indicated in this manual.
The replacement of cells at the end of their life with so-called compatible cells may lead to a
decrease in production and reduce the life of the equipment. It is therefore strongly
Any deterioration due to use of a compatible cell voids the contractual warranty.
The electrode connections
