• Keep your fingers or hand away from the outlet
opening.
• Note whether there is an operating noise when
you connect the battery.
If you connect the battery and press the
workpiece contact against the floor or
similar, the tool fan runs, this is, however,
normal.
Be aware of changing noises or unusual odours
or noise. When the tool is activated and then
generates unusual odours or noise, this is an indi-
cation of a fault. Use of the tool in this condition
can result in accidents. Contact an authorised
Würth dealer if anomalies occur.
Disconnect the charger from the mains when it is
not being used.
Avoid direct sunlight. Do not leave the tool in a
vehicle or luggage compartment
in which the temperature could increase because
otherwise it could explode.
Keep the tool away from fires and naked flames.
Ensure that you use the tool in a working environ-
ment of -10°C to 40°C, because otherwise the
tool could ignite or explode. -10 °C or less: The
tool body could be damaged. 40°C or greater:
The fuel cell could be damaged, which could
result in ignition or explosion.
Do not use the tool in the rain or in very damp
locations. Failure to comply could cause faults.
Be aware that the tool can become hot. If the
tool is used for a long time, the mouthpiece and
workpiece contact become hot. Take care to
avoid burns.
Always take the fuel cell and the battery out of
the tool and empty the magazine, if the tool is
no longer to be used, if it will be unsupervised, is
being transported to another working area or is
being adjusted, dismantled or repaired or if you
are removing a jammed fastener.
Transport
WARNING: Fire hazard! Fires can arise when
transporting batteries if the battery contacts inad-
vertently come into contact with conductive mate-
rials. When transporting batteries, ensure that the
battery contacts are protected and well insulated,
so that they cannot come into contact with materi-
als that would cause a short-circuit.
