Strictly follow the instructions for use. The user must fully understand and
strictly observe the instructions. Use the product only for the purposes
specified in the intended use section of this document.

Do not dispose of the instructions for use. Ensure that they are stored and
used appropriately by the user.

Only trained and competent users are permitted to use this product.

Do not use a faulty or incomplete product. Do not modify the product.

Notify Dräger in the event of any component fault or failure.

Comply with all local and national rules and regulations associated with this
product.

Only trained and qualified personnel are permitted to inspect, repair and
service the product as detailed in these instructions for use (see
"Maintenance", page 14). Further maintenance work that is not detailed in
these instructions for use must only be carried out by Dräger or personnel
qualified by Dräger. Dräger recommend a Dräger service contract for all
maintenance activities.

Use only genuine Dräger spare parts and accessories. Otherwise, the
proper functioning of the product may be impaired.

Product-specific safety information

This product is approved according to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU. It must
only be used under the conditions specified in the approval certificate.

Ensure that all site permits, procedures, and practices are followed when
installing, using, and maintaining the product.

The equipment is to be installed in places where there is a low risk of
mechanical damage.

Description
2.1
Product overview
The Dräger Flame 1350 is a multi-spectrum UV and IR flame detector. It uses
one UV sensor and one IR sensor, digital signal processing hardware and
firmware algorithms to interpret the radiant characteristics of flames. It can
operate independently; external control equipment is not required for normal
functions. The flame detector can be integrated into both Dräger and third-party
control systems.
