Tips
Before switching on the AUTO or TIMER mode, check with (!) or (") whether the reception is good. (If the transmitter symbol
appears, the LED (fig.11) on the receiver shall light up).
The temperature is adjusted by switching on the engine for a certain time to set the appropriate flame height. This lapse of time depends
on the dimensions of the room, the capacity of the heater, the battery force, etc. A microcomputer measures the temperature increase
while the flame burns and adjusts the switch-on time of the engine in the next heating cycle to better adapt the flame height to the need for
heat. If the lowest position is sufficient to guarantee the set temperature in the room, the heater will, after some cycles remain in the
lowest position or even switch to the bypass flame. This allows longer switch-on times and a more constant temperature than a traditional
ON-Off adjustment.
EXTINGUISHING THE HEATER
To extinguish the heater, set the button (1) on position
This extinguishes both the bypass flame and the main burner.
At the bypass flame position
only the bypass flame will stay lit.
After having switched off the heater, you should wait for at least 15 MINUTES before lighting it again.
MAINTENANCE
Attention: replace any broken glass front panel or other pyrex plates immediately. The appliance must never be used if the front panel is
broken or removed.
The decorative casing must be dusted regularly with a soft woollen cloth. Do not use polishing wax, scouring powder or corrosive agents
to clean the decorative casing.
Care must be taken to remove all dust from the heat exchanger, the combustion chamber and the discharge unit at the start of every
heating season.
Maintenance must be executed by an accredited expert gas fitter.
All parts, including the controls and the appliance settings, must be checked at the same time.
