DC OUTPUT MODE
Data: Instant current consumption of DC load (A), instant voltage of DC load (V), historical
consumption (kWh), Timer 1 and Timer 2 set parameters.
Historical load consumption is total consumption since last reset (KWh). To reset value, hold
for 5 s.
Value will flash. Press again to clear value.
12 OR 24 V DC CONTROLLED OUTPUT
The controlled output is regulated by an electronic switch that can switch on or off the loads of your
installation. You can connect DC consumers:
12V or 24V, depending on the battery that is connected, such as a light, low power electronic product, ...
The maximum continuous power accepted is:
⁻
10A for the 10-24 model (either 120W - 12V or 240W - 24V)
⁻
20A for the 20-24 models (either 240W - 12V or 480W - 24V)
Some consumers have a current draw when turning on that can be higher than the indicated rating power.
Unisolar allows those temporary overconsumptions, limited to:
⁻
1,5 times the nominal current during 2 secondes
⁻
1,25 times the nominal current during 10 secondes.
Nevertheless, you can directly connect the consumers to the battery without going through the connection
of the Unisolar and thus draw more power from the battery. However, the overload protection and more
importantly the battery undervoltage protection will not be ensured. You will have to self-check, the
surveillance of the installation thanks to battery status and to cut off the load your if needed.
Do not connect any DC-AC inverter.
