2.2 Intended purpose
Together with the compressor being used, the
®
INQUA
nebuliser forms an inhalation device for nebuliser treat-
ment of the upper and lower airways with medication aerosol. It
is suitable for temporary
to inhale all nebuliser solutions that have been authorised for
use in aerosol therapy or prescribed or recommended by a doc-
tor. Always read the notes (restrictions, frequency of use) in the
accompanying information for the medication to be inhaled, and
ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions.
2.3 Correct use
®
The INQUA
nebuliser generates a moist-cool aerosol that can-
not be heated up. The nebuliser must only be used for nebuliser
treatment. It must not be used in conjunction with anaesthesia
breathing systems or in the breathing system of respirators.
®
The INQUA
nebuliser is intended exclusively for use in the
home and together with the INQUA
of hygiene, it must only be used by one person.
The nebuliser is only designed for patients who are able to
breathe by themselves and are conscious. This is the only way
to ensure effective treatment and avoid a choking hazard.
The nebuliser equipment is suitable for use by children aged
three and older up to adult. The nebuliser system can be used
for nebuliser treatment of the lower airways (bronchi), if the
patient uses the mouthpiece, breathing in through the mouth
and out through the nose. The mask should only be used for
