4 Commissioning
Read all instructions first before using the HasciSE!
Do not drink any alcohol or take any drugs while using the
HasciSE and follow the saftey instructions carefully!
Before use, the backhand scanner incl. battery, docking station,
power supply, and any connection cables should be checked for
damage. Damaged parts should be replaced. Please contact ACD
ATTENTION
Elektronik GmbH to do this.
The device may only be opened by trained specialized personnel.
Opening the battery is prohibited.

4.1 Prior to the initial commissioning of the HasciSE
To ensure that the battery built into the device at the factory is fully charged, insert the device into the
supplied DSHasciSE (if included in the scope of delivery), also see Section 5. Using the supplied power
supply unit, connect the Charger to the mains, also see Section 5.
The battery charging process has been completed when the LED in the transparent part of the backhand
scanner is lit green. You can now use the HasciSE.
You can see the battery charging process in Figure 2.
