This is the normal operating mode of an air fryer. The food is cooked by way of heating,
achieved by a high-speed jet of heated air at temperatures of up to 200 degrees
Celsius. The advantage lies in the almost total absence of seasonings, and thus in the
rapid preparation of healthier food.
3) Combined cooking – COMBO, icon (15)
A steam cooking cycle followed by an air frying cycle that lasts ten minutes. This offers
all the advantages of steam cooking, the preparation being less humid and the outer
parts being more crispy.
After short periods of non-use, even if connected to the power, the appliance
completely switches off except for icon (30). Tapping this icon switches the appliance
back on, initially with the pre-set steam cooking function.
Starting steam cooking: Once the appliance is switched on by tapping icon (30), tap
the STEAM icon (13). The cooking time can be adjusted by tapping icons (28) and (29):
the selected time will appear on the display (16). Tapping icon (11), on the other hand,
only displays the temperature, which for steam cooking is fixed at 100 °C and cannot
be changed. To start cooking, tap icon (10).
Starting air frying: Once the appliance is switched on by tapping icon (30), tap the AIR
FRY icon (14). The frying time and temperature can be adjusted by tapping icons (28)
and (29), switching from one value to the other by tapping icon (8): the type of
information shown on the display (16) is indicated by icon (11). To start cooking, tap
icon (10).
Starting combined cooking: Once the appliance is switched on by tapping icon (30),
tap the COMBO icon (14). The cooking time can be adjusted by tapping icons (28) and
(29): the selected time will appear on the display (16). Tapping icon (8), on the other
hand, only displays the temperature, which for steam cooking is fixed at 100 °C and
cannot be changed. To start cooking, tap icon (10). During the final stage, in the last
10 minutes dedicated to the air frying process, the remaining time and frying
temperature can be adjusted as described below.
