Storing telephone number from caller ID
or redial in the phonebook
To store a number from caller ID or redial in
the phonebook, proceed as follows:
1. If the desired telephone number appears
in the display, press
three seconds to add the number to the
phonebook.
2. The last digit in the telephone number will
flash and you can now edit the number or
press
to enter the name.
3. Now use the keypad to enter the name
and press
4. Press
to return to standby mode.
Adjusting the display contrast
1. Press "OK/MENU" to access the settings
menu.
2. Press "↑" or "↓" to move to the menu item
"Display-Kontrast".
3. Press "OK/MENU" to confirm your selec-
tion. "CONTRAST" will appear in the dis-
play and the currently selected setting
(8 set tings) (E.g.: CONTRAST 7).
4. Press "↑" or "↓" to select the desired set-
ting and press "OK/MENU" to confirm
your selection and exit the settings
menu.

Setting the time/ date
1. Press "OK/MENU" to access the settings
menu.
2. Press "↑" or "↓" to move to the menu item
"ZEIT/DAT. STELL".
3. Press "OK/MENU" to confirm your selec-
tion.
4. Use the keypad to enter the numbers.
Press "OK/MENU" to confirm your entry
and to move to the next position. Press "*"
to move back to a previous position.
5. Press the
menu.
Notes:
1. If you receive a call on this telephone, the
time and the date will be set automatically
if you have activated caller ID through
your service provider (FSK standard).
2. The sequence is as follows:
Hour – Minute – Month – Day – Year
3. The weekday will be set automatically
when the year is entered. The year has to
be entered for the weekdays to be indi-
cated correctly.
