□ Release the start button 1 and keep one of the
safety switches 3 pressed for as long as you want
to keep the motor running.
Release the safety switch 3 to stop the motor. Attention:
blades will keep rotating! Wait until the blades have come
to a standstill before you handle the device.
● Emptying the cuttings collec­
tion bag
The cuttings collection bag 7 has been equipped with
a fill level indicator 19 . With the engine running and an
empty cuttings collection bag 7 the fill level indicator
is raised. If the cuttings collection bag 7 is full, the

fill level indicator 19 lowers back onto the cuttings
collection bag 7 . It is time to empty the cuttings collec­
tion bag 7 .
You must also empty the cuttings collec­
tion bag 7 if cuttings remain on the
ground.
□ Stop the motor and wait until the blades have come
to a standstill.
□ Completely lift the discharge flap 8 .
□ Lift the cuttings collection bag 7 and remove it from
the lawnmower.
Slightly lift the device to release the cuttings collec­
tion bag 7 .
□ Move the discharge flap 8 in a controlled manner
until it covers the discharge chute.
Do not just let go. The discharge flap 8 may be
damaged by the effect of the spring.
Completely empty the cuttings collection bag 7 and
make sure that the cuttings collection bag 7 is undam­
aged.
The fabric must be largely cleared of cuttings to not
obstruct the outgoing air.
□ Attach the cuttings collection bag 7 (see section
entitled "Attaching the cuttings collection bag").
Operation / Cleaning
● Cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Moisture in the device may cause a short circuit or
electric shock.
■ Before cleaning, disconnect the power cable from the
socket.
■ Make sure that no water or other liquid gets inside
the housing.
■ Never clean the device with running water (e.g. a
garden hose).
NOTE!
Improper cleaning can damage the device.
■ Do not use any harsh cleaning products, brushes with
metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning
materials such as knives, hard scrapers or similar.
They may damage the surfaces.
■ Remove wet cuttings immediately. Residues of wet
cuttings on and in the device may harden and cause
mould.
Cleaning and inspection after
each use
Regular cleaning and inspection is
necessary to keep the device in perfect
state.
□ Switch off the motor and wait until the blades have
come to a standstill.
□ Disconnect the device from the supply line and disen­
gage the supply lines from the pull relief 4 .
□ Thoroughly empty the cuttings collection bag 7
(see section "Emptying the cuttings collection bag").
Do not reattach it to the device.
□ Remove cuttings from the device and cuttings collec­
tion bag 7 with a hand brush and check the
cuttings collection bag 7 for damage.
□ Tilt the device to one side and remove cuttings from
the discharge chute and blades compartment using a
hand brush or brush.
□ Check the blades for damaged areas and wear.
Do not operate the device with damaged or worn
blades! If necessary, have the blades sharpened or
replaced in a specialist workshop (for type of blades
see section entitled "Technical data").
□ Place the device back on its wheels.
