OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS
Stop
To stop playback completely, press the STOP button
once.
The display will display all the number of tracks on the
disc and the total playback time.
SKIP (I<<, >>I): Previous / Next
When a CD track is being played it is possible to switch
to the previous track or to the next track.
If you want to continue to the next track, you must
press the >>I (next) button on the remote control or
SKIP i<< on the front panel once in short time (less 1
second). If you want to move on several tracks, you
must press >>I button several times by short pressing
until you reach the track desired.
If you wish to go back to one of the previous tracks,
you must press I<< button in short time (less 1 second).
SEARCH (<<, >>): Forward and Backward
It is possible to perform a search in the track played.
If you wish to search forward, long press (more than 1
second) the >> button on the remote or the SKIP>>
button on the frontpanel until you get to that part of the
track that you wish to hear, and then loose the
pressing to normally playback. You will see that the
time counter in the display counts up very quickly.
If you wish to search backward, use the same
procedure as when you search forward, long press
(more than 1 second) the << button on the remote or
the SKIP<< button on the frontpanel.

Program
Programming tracks on a CD in a particular order.
The Stop mode must be activated to programme tracks
firstly, then.
• Press the PROG button. Display: PRG 01-00
• Now assign the desired track to memory location 01
by selecting the track number via the numeric keypad
or the SKIP button. Display e.g.: PRG 01-08
• Press the PROG button again. Display: PRG 02-00
• Now enter the desired track for memory location 02.
• Repeat these steps until all of the desired tracks have
been programmed and then press PROG again after
the last track.
• Start playing the programmed list by pressing PLAY.
A "P" appears to the left of the display, followed by the
current track and elapsed time.

• You can manipulate playback within the programmed
list by pressing SKIP, SEARCH and PAUSE/PLAY.
• The programme is erased after pressing the STOP or
EJECT button.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
No power when unit is turned on.
No sound.
The unit will not read the disc.
The unit skips some parts
during playback.
A buzzing can be heard.
SOLUTION
- Switch on the electric current at the socket.
- Check that the plug has been correctly inserted
into the socket.
- The internal fuse has blown and must be replaced
by a qualified service technician.
- The power cord has been damaged and must be
replaced.
- The unit has not been turned on.
- Incorrect connection to the amplifier.
- No loudspeakers have been connected to the
amplifier.
- No disc in the tray.
- Check if the disc has been turned upside down.
- Check if the disc is clean and undamaged.
- Check if it is a CD, CD-R or Mp3 audio disc.
- Check if the disc is clean and undamaged.
- The unit is positioned on an unstable surface.
-The RCA cables between VH-CD060BK/SL and the
amplifier/receiver have been damaged.
-The RCA cables between the VH-CD060 and the
amplifier/receiver have been wound around the
power cord.
