MIC level:
ARES SC4 has two electronic paths for Microphone, one analogue and one digital (converted into digital
signal and processed by your computer software).
Gain: sets the Microphone Input sensitivity prior to be digitalized into your computer. Similar to a
normal Gain on a mixer. For proper level setting, the precessing software on your computer shall have a
level meter so you can optimize your dynamic range as is usually done with the Gain of a Mixer channel.
Through: controls the analogue electric path of the Mic signal. We will take care of these issues later in
this manual. (See page 47).
NOTE: If you press MUTE the IN/OUT is muted.
Input level:
ARES SC4 has two Input level controls; one for channels 1+2 and one for channels 3+4. Similar to a
