Note
Powering the antenna directly from the set-top box or
digital TV requires a supply voltage of 5V.
5.3 Powering the antenna using an external
amplifier and power supply unit (Fig. 3)
• Connect the external amplifier to the antenna input of the
set-top box or digital TV.
• Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna to the
amplifier ('ANT IN' connection).
• Connect the DC plug of the DC USB cable to the
amplifier; connect the USB plug to a suitable USB power
supply unit (5 V, not included), and plug the latter into
a socket.
• Switch on the TV (and the set-top box, if present).
• Check the reception quality. If the reception quality is not
good, adjust the position or angle of the antenna.
5.4 Wall mounting
Use the screws and wall plugs provided to fix the antenna
to the wall.
Note
• Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen
is suitable for the weight to be mounted Also make
sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other
lines running through the wall at the mounting site.
• After the product has been mounted, check that it
is sufficiently secure. You should repeat this check at
regular intervals.
5.5 Setting up the antenna on a table, cabinet or similar
Attach the provided stand to the rear of the antenna. Next,
place the antenna on an even surface such as a table or
entertainment stand. Check the reception quality. If the
reception quality is not good, adjust the position or angle
of the antenna.
6. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth
and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
