8- CAUSES OF A DEFECTIVE IMAGE

In case of a defective image you must check that:
The illumination is well made, the light intensity is not excessive enough or too
weak.
The eyepieces must fit well and the objectives must be well tightened.
The cleaning of the whole optical system, following this process: make the eye-
pieces rotate and if the specks move, clean them. Make the whole of the head
rotate. NEVER DISMANTLE THE HEAD. However you can clean carefully
those accesible surfaces of the prisms blowing with a rubber pear. Rotate the
objective, if the parasitic images turn around clean it with a small dry brush
trying to remove the dust, observe the frontal surface with a magnifying glass or
an inverted eyepiece.

9- ACCESSORIES

The stereomicroscope can be completed with several eyepieces, objectives and others
