Torque can be adjust in 23 + 1 different confi gurations. The higher the adjust,
higher will be the torque on the shaft of the Drill / Driver in both selectable
speeds: LOW or HIGH (LO or HI).
When using the Drill / Driver for different applications, it is necessary to
increase or decrease the torque in order to help prevent the possibility of
damaging screw heads, threads, workpiece, etc.
Torque adjustment.
The correct confi guration depends on the work and the type of drill, bit,
hole saw, accessory and material that will be used.In general, USE a higher
torque for bigger screws, however, if the torque is too high, screws may be
damaged or broken.
For delicate operations, such as removing a partially disassembled screw,
USE a low torque confi guration. For operations such as drilling wood, USE
high torque.
WARNING: When adjust the chuck, CERTIFY that the Two Speed Gearbox

SELECT the Drilling mode. TURN the Torque Adjustment Ring until PREVIEW
an icon in the form of a drill. ALIGN this icon with the bit, as indicated in
figure 09.
