INTRUCTIONS FOR USE
One-handed staple guns TT 18 / TT 26
Important to note
Read and follow the instructions in this manual before using the electric gun tackers – all to protect yourself and other
people nearby. The manufacturer and/or the retailer accept no responsibility for damage or loss arising as a result of incor-
rect use of the electric gun tacker.
Each user and/or each supervisor charged with the task of instructing users must have read and understood these instruc-
tions. If objections are raised against this point, the product must be returned in unused condition.
Safety regulations
• Ensure that the gun is connected to the correct voltage, see label on the gun.
• Use only electrical extension cords as described in the instructions under Technical Data.
• Keep flexible lead connectors free from deposits. Long and slender flexible cords and deposits on connectors serve to
reduce the guns impact force.
• Do not use a gun which has a damaged housing, damaged flexible cord or other defects.
• Never pull on the flexible cord.
• Do not use or store the gun in damp and dusty locations, near water or inflammable gases and liquids.
• Keep the gun out of the reach of children and unauthorized persons.
• Be sure to follow all safety regulations carefully and always wear protective glasses with side- shields when the gun is
in use. Also make sure that other people nearby use protective glasses.
• Keep your finger away from the trigger when loading the gun and on all occasions other than when actually stapling.
• Never point the gun at people or animals. Always assume that the gun is loaded.
• Unplug the gun when you have finished stapling. Remove all staples from the magazine when examining the gun.
• No changes may be made to the inside or outside of the product.
• Never shoot into the air, with or without staples or with any material not intended for use in the gun. The gun is a tool,
not a toy.
• Only staples or pins specifically intended for use in the gun may be used.
• The gun must not be used to secure electric cables.
• Do not use malfunctioning tool or if parts are missing or damaged.
• Do not exceed the maximum fastener drive rate that is stated for each product. If the gun over-heats, unplug and leave
it to cool.
• Always unplug the gun and unload the magazine when leaving it unattended or to somebody else. Also always unplug
the gun, when loading or unloading the magazine.
• Do not fire staples or nails on top of other fasteners. Do not keep the gun at too steep an angle to the work surface,
which could make the staples ricochet off the work surface and cause personal injury.
• Avoid firing staples or nails too close to the edge of the work surface to prevent the material from breaking.
• Keep the work surface clean. Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.
Instructions for use – figure 1
Hold the gun firmly against the stapling object. Slide the safety-catch forward and press the trigger (1). Never force the
safety catch backwards – it may break. Never shoot into the air, neither with nor without staples/pins. Always unplug after
finishing work.
If a staple jams – figure 2
If a staple/pin gets jammed, unplug the gun and empty the magazine of staples/pins. Hold the gun as shown in the picture.
Press out the front retainer (1) and remove the front plate (2). Remove the defective staple/pins. Do not use tools to remove
jammed staples/pins. Check that there are no defective staples/pins left and replace the front plate. Before use make sure
correct staples/pins are used. For best result always use kwb genuine staples/pins.
