6. Operation
• Make sure batteries are present inside the counter. Refer to §7.
• Push coins one by one through the coin slot [2]. Do not insert the
coins too fast or with too much force.
• The LCD [1] will show the value of the inserted coins followed by
the total amount already inside the jar.
• When emptying the jar, press the reset button [3] to set the
display back to 0 (zero).
7. Batteries
Unscrew the top of the jar (counter clockwise).
•
Open the battery compartment [4] by releasing the small screw
•
and removing the cover.
Insert 2 new 1.5V AA batteries (not incl.) following the polarity
•
indications inside the battery compartment.
Place the battery cover back and tighten the screw.
•
The LCD [1] shows the amount of money that was in the jar
•
before batteries were replaced. To return the total to 0 (zero),
press the reset button [3].
WARNING:
Do not puncture or throw batteries in fire. Dispose of
batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep
batteries away from children.
