Mobiles LED-Pannenleitset
ENGLISH
After operation is finished:
When the hazardous situation has been determined the elements must be removed from the road and
put back and fixed in the transport and charging case. The guide light elements switch off
automatically approx. 10 seconds after securing them in the transport and charging case.

Charging and care instructions
2.5.1
General
Read the charging and care instructions carefully and completely before using the mobile sequential
hazard set.
The mobile sequential hazard set requires a 10 - 30 volt d.c. power supply for charging as well as
enclosed charging cable for a cigarette lighter 12 or 24 volt.
NOTE!
2.5.2
First charging
ATTENTION!
· Ensure that the LED guide light elements are correctly fixed in place in the transport and charging
case.
· The charging contacts must be pointing downwards to enable the elements to recharge.
· Connect the transport and charging case to the vehicle cigarette lighter using the charging cable.
· At the outside of the transport and charging case there is a yellow status LED. When this LED is
blinking at least one guide light element is still in charging condition. If it shows permanent light all
batteries are completely charged.
· Charge for at least 10 hours. This will provide an operation time of approx. 16 hours. Charging for
extended periods will not damage the unit.
2.5.3
Subsequent charging
If the equipment was used it must be recharged to make sure that it is ready for next use. See first
charging.
2.5.4
Sporadic use
When the system is not charged permanently by the vehicle on-board power supply and only used
sporadically the LED guide light elements have to be locked in place after use and then be released
again. This reduces the no-load current.

An optimal readiness for use is only guaranteed when the unit stays connected to the vehicle supply system
even if it is not used for a longer time. For this a vehicle socket must be used which can not be switched off.
Only original Nissen charging cables must be used. On certain vehicles, the cigarette lighter socket is not
powered when the ignition is off. Charging will only take place, when the cigarette socket is powered.
Charge for 10 hours before first use!
After a total use of approx. 10 hours it is useful to recharge the elements. The elements must be locked in
place for charging and synchronization! The same is true when the system has not been charged for more
than 14 days.
