3. HOW THE LRF-05 WORKS

The LRF-05 frequency recorder-limiter compensates for excess musical signals present in
the room where it is installed so that the sound pressure level measured by the sensor does
not exceed the programmed limit. The LRF-05 is equipped with 3 LEDS ([2] green, [3]
amber, [4] red). The meaning of each one is as follows:

No LED on: The LRF-05 is disconnected from the mains and is therefore attenuating
60dB.

Green LED on [2]: The sound pressure level in the room is correct.

Amber LED on [3]: The limiter is monitoring the music signal level to guarantee that the
sound pressure level in the room is correct.
 Red LED on [4]: The limiter is attenuating 60 dB. This attenuation is sufficiently restrictive
to cause the music to stop playing. This may happen either because the attenuation level
is above 50 dB or else because the sensor inactive incident has been detected.
 The three LEDs are on: The internal self-checking system is being calibrated.
4. SOFTWARE APPLICATION FOR THE LRF-05

Programme and see the programmed parameters in the LRF-05.

Calibrate the continuous internal self-checking system.

Display in real time the sound pressure levels measured by the LRF-05.
 Display and verify the different sound parameters measured by the LRF-05.

Delete the data recorded in the LRF-05.
 Change the programming and calibration access password.
 Download the data recorded by the limiter to a PC via USB connection or modem.
 Display the data downloaded into the computer both numerically and graphically.
 Draw up detailed reports of both the LRF-05 programming and the recorded data.
Before installing the LRF-05 software in your PC, carefully read the
applications installation manual.

The following on-screen options are available:
This option allows data from other LRF-05.mdb databases to be incorporated
into the current database.
This option provides you with access to the programming menu, from which you
may programme the LRF-05, see the measured parameters in real time,
calibrate the continuous internal self-checking system, see the measures sound
parameters, delete recorded data and change the access password.
