Care & Cleaning instructions
CAUTION: Always unplug unit before cleaning. Never submerge heating unit in water.
•
Unplug the fryer and make sure it is cooled down to room temperature before
cleaning.
•
Clean the outside of the fryer with a damp cloth, and then dry.
•
Clean the inside of the fryer and the basket when you filter or change the oil. Use
a cloth, hot water and washing-up liquid. For stains use non-scratching cream
cleaner.
•
Rinse and thoroughly dry the container before refilling with oil.
•
Clean the lid in hot water and kitchen detergent solution.
•
Do not use abrasive powders, hard abrasive scourers, and wire wool or washing
soda crystals.
Troubleshooting
Device is not working:
•
Check the mains connection.
•
Check the position of the thermostat.
Other possible causes:
The device is fitted with a safety switch. This prevents the heater being switched on
accidentally.
•
Check that the control element is correctly in place.
