insert
The E 494 insert is designed for the machine reprocessing of microtit‐
er plates and blood analysis plates.
Plastic microtiter plates and blood analysis plates:
For microtiter plates / blood analysis plates made of polycarbonate,
polyacrylic, polystyrene, etc., please note the following:
– Use cleaning agents with hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide oxidi‐
sing properties.
Do not use cleaning agents and defoamers containing surfac‐
tants and/or silicone oils.
– Use neutralising agents with a citric acid base.
– Select a cleaning programme with 1 - 2 cold pre-washes.
– The temperature must not exceed 55 °C in the washing and rinsing
blocks.
– After the final rinse, manually tip any remaining water out of the ca‐
vities or wells before drying.
– The temperature when drying in the washer-disinfector must not
exceed 65 °C.
– The temperature when drying in the drying cabinet must not exceed
55 °C.
The instructions of the manufacturer of the microtiter plates or the
blood analysis plates should also be observed.
Push the microtiter plates into the insert holders with the open sides
facing downwards.
Up to two inserts can be used per level. Do not stack the inserts on
top of each other.
