8. OPERATING FAILURES
SWITCH OFF the control box before carrying out any
servicing action.
PROBLEM
8.1 THE PUMP DOES NOT
a) The supply connection is incorrect :
START OR STOPS.
b) The voltage option fuse (FIG. 2 ref. 9) is
c) Motor protection fuses (FIG. 2 ref. 2)
d) MGP protection fuse (FIG.3 ref. 6) is
e) Operating mode in "0" or "RESET"
f) Opening of the remote control circuit :

8.2 PUMP FAULT ON

a) Reconnect the supply according to the voltage available.
b) Place the fuse in the correct fuse holder. If necessary, change it. (type GL, 5x20 dia.
rating 0.5 A/400V).
c) Check the rating. If needed, change them.
d) Change it (type GL, 5x20 dia. gauge 0.5 A/400V). Check the supply/mains wiring.
e) Move the selector (FIG. 3 ref. 1) to the required mode.
f) Close the circuit or check for the presence of a shunt (terminals 1 and 2).
g) Reconnect the motor sensors or insert the shunts.
a) Check the status of the thermal relays. Change rating if necessary.
b) Check the wiring.
a) Move the selector to P1/P2 or P1+P2).
b) Set the clock (See § 6.3)
a) Check that the setting threshold is conform with the identification plate on the
motor. Reset by pushing the blue relay button. If the fault persists, contact ASS.
a) Check the conditions of use by referring to the pump instructions and reset
(See § 6.6). If the fault persists, contact ASS.
