3. Wipe the control clean with a slightly damp, soft cloth when necessary.
4. Clean the fully cooled electric cape depending on the level of soiling:
•
Small stains can be removed using a slightly damp cloth
Hand-wash the electric cape for normal levels of soiling. Refer to the
•
care symbols on the product.
For heavier soiling, you may wash the electric cape in the washing
•
machine at 30°C (gentle cycle and the lowest spin-dry setting). Follow
the instructions for detergent and dosage.
Always unplug the control's connection cable before cleaning the
electric cape! The control may not be immersed in water or other
liquids.
Machine-washing the electric cape exposes it to a good deal of strain.
We recommend not washing it more than 5 x over the product's entire
service life.
5. Let the electric cape air-dry thoroughly after washing it. Do not wring out
the electric cape or hang it up using clothespins. Do not turn on the elec-
tric cape to dry it!
Please note:
•
Continue use of the electric cape only once it and the socket are fully dry.
•
Allow the electric cape to cool down completely before folding and storing it.
•
Store the cooled electric cape at a clean, dry location. Do not store any
heavy objects on the electric cape as they may damage the heating wires
inside it.
