DESCRIPTION

2.1 DESCRIPTION
The innovative display of the new detector for metal and electric cables METALLA PRO allows
simultaneous detection of ferrous/non ferrous metals as well as live circuits and therefore makes
the use of instruments, such as drills or pneumatic hammers, easier and safer.
METALLA PRO allows detecting pipes in walls and floors up to a 20 cm. depth, as well as
identifying and tracing for buried electric connections, traps/manhole covers and metal objects. It
can also be used for inspecting people when security reasons requires it, namely in airports,
stadiums, courts, and so on.
The new METALLA PRO can be used also in prisons when it is necessary to detect the presence
of metal elements in parcels, in order to be sure that no such objects as weapons are hidden
inside them.
In case metals or electric cables are present beyond an adjustable level, METALLA PRO can
produce an acoustic alarm which immediately alerts the operator.
Should the operator be near an undesired metal object interfering with detection, a zero setting
function allows accurate detection of other metals or circuits.
METALLA PRO is practical and easy to use. Thanks to its reduced dimension and weight it is
possible to easily carry it at one's belt by means of its carry-bag.
