the types:
Micro

R 6
1500 - 2500 mAh
and/or 1-2 rechargeable NiMH-batteries of the type:
9V E-Block
9 V
6 F 22
120 - 240 mAh
Attention!
You can charge only rechargeable batteries! No dry batt-
teries - danger of explosion! NiMH-batteries are marked
as such and have the inscription "wiederaufladbar" or
"rechargeable".
Do not recharge/charge full batteries. Overcharging can
damage NiMH batteries. Care must be taken when dis-
posing of batteries. Do not burn - there can be risk of
explosion. In some countries there are special require-
ments for battery disposal.
Application:
The charger has 4 circuits for round cells and two circu-
its for the 9 V block. You can charge either 1-4 round
cells or 1-2 round cells together with one 9 V block bat-
tery or 1-2 9 V block batteries.
To charge round cells:
To charge, firstly, ensure that the cell is the correct way
round and in the correct compartment for size of battery,
as shown on the charger. Batteries must be inserted side
by side with a maximum of 4 cells being charged at a
time, they must not be placed one on top of the other.
The plug-in charger pro N is designed so that NiMH bat-
teries can be quickly recharged. The charging current for
a particular battery type is designed so that discharged
batteries are recharged in approx. 14 hours independ-
ently of the number of cells being charged (1 to 4).
The charging process and the internal timer are started
by connecting the unit to the mains supply when the red
LED will light up. After approx. 14 hours the timer auto-
matically switches the unit to trickle charge, when the red
LED will go out and the green LED will light up. The bat-
teries are then charged and ready for use.
Trickle charging will not damage NiMH batteries and
keeps them fully charged and ready for use. The char-
ging process is stopped when the unit is disconnected
from the mains supply either during or at the end of the
charge and the timer resets to the starting position after
approx. 30 seconds. If the batteries are taken out of the
compartment before the end of the 14 hours with the unit
still connected to the mains supply, then the red LED
goes out but the timer continues to the end of its cycle.
To charge 9 V block battery:
Insert the battery into the slot the right way round as
shown in the battery compartment. The charging pro-
cess and the internal timer are started by connecting the
unit to the mains supply when the red LED will light up.
After approx. 14 hours the timer automatically stops the
charging process and the red LED goes out. The 9 V
block is charged and ready for use.
FX 300:
Charger without rechargeable batteries.
FX 300 MH: Charger with 4 rechargeable NiMH
batteries AA size.
Instruction for use:
It is essential to charge NiMH-batteries before using
them for the first time or after they have been stored for
a longer period. In some cases it may be necessary to
carry out the charging process twice in order to return
the batteries to full capacity.
The contact surface of the batteries and of the charger
must always be kept clean.
An authorized dealer is to be contacted at once in case
of any damage.
Protect the unit against oil, grease aggressive detergents
and solvents as unit may be destroyed.
The charger is to be used indoor only.
Following a drop or if mains pins are affected the unit has
to be checked immediately by an authorized dealer.
