04 | INSERTING BATTERIES

INSERT BATTERIES INTO THE TRANSMITTER
Slide the battery compartment cover (11) in the direction of the arrow and open it. Insert 2
pieces of Micro AAA 1.5V LR03 batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-) into the
battery compartment (12). Close the battery compartment.

INSERT BATTERIES INTO THE RECEIVER
Slide the battery compartment cover (18) in the direction of the arrow and open it. Insert 2
pieces of Micro AAA 1.5V LR03 batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-) into the
battery compartment (19). Close the battery compartment.
05 | CONNECTION / OPERATION
05.1
USING THE WIRELESS TRANSMITTER AS REMOTE RELEASE
When using as remote release you do not need the receiver (03.3).
The transmitter (03.1) can be operated without batteries, when using as remote
release. The transmitter draws the energy from camera.
Insert the 3.5 mm jack plug (22) of the connection cable (03.4) into the cable socket (8)
of the transmitter (03.1).
Connect the camera plug (22) to the remote control socket of your camera (see manual
of your camera).
Turn on the camera and make the desired camera settings.
To activate the AF, press the release button (6) halfway. Press the release button (6) all
the way down to release.
For time exposure (Bulb) or continuous shooting, slide the release button (6) to the
"Hold" position. To stop the shooting, slide the release button back and press it down
all the way.
Before you disconnect the cable, please turn o your camera.

USING AS WIRELESS REMOTE RELEASE
Before connecting the SRT-100 to your camera, make sure that the transmitter, the
receiver and your camera are turned o (On/O switch 1+13 = OFF).
Slide the hot shoe mount (20) of the receiver (03.3) onto the hot shoe of your camera.
Screw the locking screw (21) down until the receiver is firmly fixed on the camera.
Insert the 3.5 mm jack plug (21) into the cable socket (17) of the receiver.
Connect the camera plug (22) with the remote control socket of your camera (see
manual of your camera).
05.2.1 CHANNEL SELECTION
You can select between 4 di erent channels for the radio transmission. Make sure that
the same channel is set on the channel selection (10) of the transmitter as well as on the
channel selection (16) of the receiver.
Switch on the transmitter and the receiver (On/O switch 1+13 = ON). Turn on your ca-
mera.
If the transmitter and receiver are successfully connected, the LED indicator of the re-
ceiver (15) fl ashes red.
To activate the AF, press the shutter button (6) halfway – the LED indicators of the trans-
mitter and of the receiver (7+15) will turn green. Press the release button (6) all the way
down to release.

CHANGE SETTINGS
Switch on the transmitter (1 = ON). Use the arrow buttons (4) and to select the menu a)
to e). The selected menu is underlined with a bar shown in the menu indicator (f).

06.2.2 LONG (EXPOSURE TIME)
Set the exposure time.
Set your camera's exposure to "BULB" mode (see manual of your camera). If the camera's
exposure is not set to "BULB" mode, camera will take consecutive shots until either the
set exposure time is over or your memory card is full. For shake-free shootings, we recom-
mend to use a tripod for bulb exposure.

06.2.3 INTVL (INTERVAL TIME)
Set the duration between the individual releases for continuous shootings.
Set you camera to single shoot mode (see manual of your camera).
The time set should be longer than the camera's exposure time. Otherwise the camera
will take continuous shoots. If you use a fl ash, the interval time should be longer than the
fl ash's recycling time.
