Operating mode MASTER or SLAVE
This adjustment is only required when operat-
ing without a DMX controller.
Use the button
The operating mode MASTER must be
selected for operation without a DMX controller
when the unit is used on its own or used as a
master unit to control further slave units.
The operating mode SLAVE 1 must be
selected when the unit is used as a slave unit
to be controlled in sync with the master unit
(
chapter 6.2).
The operating mode SLAVE 2 must be se-
lected when the unit is used as a slave unit to
be controlled by the master unit, but its strobo-
scope effects are to be opposite to those of the
master unit.
The operating modes SLAVE 3 – 16 are pro-
vided for slave units for creating light
sequencer effects with a total of 3 – 16 units.

modes SLAVE 1 – 4 are available.)

Blackout mode on or off
Use the button
The LEDs will be permanently on. This adjust-
ment must be selected when the unit is oper-
ated without a DMX controller.
The LEDs will only light up when there is a
DMX control signal at the jack DMX INPUT
(18). Once the DMX controller is switched off,
all LEDs will go out.
To memorize, press the button ENTER (11).
Display on or off
Use the button
The display (6) will always be on.
The display will be switched off approx. 60 s
after pressing the last button. It will be switched
on again the next time a button is pressed.
To memorize, press the button ENTER (11).
Display representation
Use the button ENTER (11) to select and memorize at
the same time:

When there is no DMX control signal at the jack DMX
INPUT (18), the yellow LED MASTER (8) will light up,

mode must be adjusted and the Blackout mode must
be deactivated,
6.1 Selecting the function mode
When selecting the function mode, make sure that the
next button (9 – 11) is pressed within 10 seconds, oth-
erwise the adjusting process will end and the unit will
return to the previous mode. The menu structure can
be found on page 18.

Operating mode 1
The unit operates as a music-controlled stroboscope.
In music breaks, or when the SENSITIVITY control
(14) is turned to the left stop, the unit operates as a
colour radiator with automatically changing colours.
Operating mode 2
The unit operates as a colour radiator which changes
its colour by music signals. In music breaks, or when
the SENSITIVITY control is turned to the left stop,
there is automatic transition between different colours.
Adjust the SENSITIVITY control (14) for the micro-
phone so that the dynamic power of the music will be
reproduced in an optimum way by flashing or by
changing the colour. The green LED SOUND (12) will
shortly light up with each control signal created by the
sound picked up with the microphone (15).
Note: When the volume at the music system is modified, the
microphone sensitivity must be adapted accordingly with
the rotary control.
6.1.2 Show mode
With this function mode the unit is able to flash in dif-
ferent colour sequences (operating mode 1) or to light
up (operating mode 2).
