Problem
White smoke

Troubleshooting
When preparing fatty foods,
grease drips into the fryer
pan. The grease makes the
fryer pan hotter than usual
– this has no negative effect
on either the product or the
cooking results.
Grease residue burns in the
fryer chamber. Clean the fryer
pan after each use.
Soak the cut potatoes in cold
water for approx. 1/2 hour
so that the starch can leach
out. Dry them off with paper
towels before putting them
in the fryer basket.
