in temperature between the internal and external surfaces,
reducing the surface tensions which might otherwise cause
the glass to break.
USING THE STEAM GENERATOR
Control panel (fig. 5).
A - Main switch 0-I.
B - Steam switch.

Turning the steam generator on:
The steam generator is turned on via the main switch A. In
the "I" position (fig. 5), the steam production boiler filler pump
is activated.
Steam phase.
Operate the steam switch "B". This turns on the power to the
steam production boiler. The appliance is ready to use when the
indicator light "E" on the control panel lights up (fig. 5).
To activate steam emission, use the switch "G" and button "I"
on the handgrip. (fig. 6).
Filling the cleaning product circuit.
Activate the cleaning product button "C/H" with the steam switch
"G/I" activated until the solution comes out of the attachment
(this operation must be repeated each time the solution tank
runs out).
To release pressure in the boiler, activate the vapour switch "G"
with the main switch in the "I" position.
The quantity of steam delivered can be adjusted using the knob
"F" placed on the gear control panel:
- Rotate anticlockwise for maximum delivery.
- Rotate clockwise for minimum delivery (fig. 7).
When the tank is empty, the light "D" comes on when the steam
switch is operated.
To deliver detergent, use switch "C" (fig. 5) on the control panel
and button "H" on the handgrip (fig. 6).
Press the button until the product comes out of the attachment
and then at intervals of a couple of seconds to avoid affecting
the efficiency of the steam.
Combined steam/detergent phase.
Select the most suitable attachments.
- Floor brush for use with the extension tubes.
- Multipurpose rectangular brush for use alone or with the exten-
sion tubes (fig. 8).
- 120° curved lance for use alone or with the brushes.
- Long steam lance (fig. 9).
- Glass brush, to be used on its own or with extension hoses.
- If necessary, use the proper extension hoses. It is possible to
use a single extension hose.

Change the attachments only when all the switches on the
hand grip are off.
Do not change attachments while the appliance is emitting
steam, risk of burns.
Use only original attachments which offer optimum character-
istics of quality and safety. Failure to use original attachments
absolves the manufacturer from all liability.
Stopping the steam generator.
To stop the appliance, turn the steam phase, cleaning product
injection switches on the hand grip off (fig. 6); place the main
switch in the "O" position and unplug from the mains.
Turn the appliance on and off by means of the main switch only
and never by plugging in or unplugging the mains plug.
Never unplug by pulling the power cable.
IMPORTANT.
As with all technical appliances, your steam generator should
always be used according to the instructions.
Only maintenance authorised in this booklet may be carried out
by the user. All other operations are prohibited.
Before carrying out maintenance of any kind, unplug the steam
generator from the mains.
The appliance can only be disconnected from the mains by
unplugging it.
When maintenance has been completed, before reconnecting
the steam generator to the mains, check that the panels have
been replaced correctly and fixed using the screws provided.
Cleaning the appliance.
Do not use direct jets of water to clean the appliance. Use a
damp cloth only.
Clean all accessories thoroughly each time they are used.
Cleaning the filters.
Check the condition of the output filters on the water and deter-
gent tanks and steam generator regularly. Clean and remove
all dirt. Replace if excessively dirty.
Boiler maintenance.
On average, boiler maintenance should be carried out after
every 50 hours of operation. If the appliance is used with
especially hard water (> 15°TH), carry out maintenance more
frequently.
The boiler's scaling should be made only by an authorized
assistence service.
