DESCALING
HINT
Descale the water kettle regularly. The intervals depend mainly on water hardness and
the frequency of use. Only use commercially available descaling agents and follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
• Fill the water tank with water and appropriate amount of descaling agent up to the
MAX marking on the water level indicator.
• Start the boiling process.
• After boiling, dispose of the solution of water and descaling agent properly.
• Do not pour the mixture of water and decalcifying agent into enameled water
basins. Do not use the same mixture a second time. If the result should not be
satisfactory, repeat these steps.
• Residues of the descaling agent can affect the water taste. Let the water kettle
complete 2 or 3 boiling cycles with clear water to remove all residues.
