Dry the unused charging unit and store in a
closed place. Unauthorised persons and chil-
dren must not have access to the charging
unit.
3.2
Safety instructions for plant sprayers
■
Do not spray flammable liquids, such as pet-
rol, to reduce the risk of fire or explosion.
■
Use only water-based lawn and garden
chemicals.
■
Do not use chemicals intended for commer-
cial or industrial purposes.
■
Danger of electric shock. Do not spray in the
direction of plug sockets.
■
The spraying area must be well ventilated.
■
Do not spray where there are sparks, naked
flames or other ignition sources.
■
Be aware of all possible risks posed by the
spraying material, the individual chemicals
and possible combinations.
■
Do not use any of the following liquids with
the appliance, as they can damage metal
parts, tank or hose:
■
Caustic (alkaline)
■
Corrosive
■
Self-heating
■
Follow the chemicals manufacturer's instruc-
tions on use, cleaning and storage printed on
the product label at all times. Chemicals must
be stored out of the reach of children.
■
Do not spray any materials whose possible
hazards are unknown.
■
Wear appropriate personal protective equip-
ment, such as a face mask suitable for spray-
ing, gloves and other protective equipment to
reduce the exposure to the sprayed materi-
als.
■
Avoid any skin and eye contact with the
chemicals or the mixed spraying solution and
the inhalation of the vapours and spray mist.
In the event of contact, take the following
measures immediately:

Wash the skin thoroughly with soap and
water.
■
Rinse out the eyes thoroughly with water.
■
In the event of irritation, obtain medical
advice.
■
Do not pour hot or boiling liquids into the
tank. These could weaken or damage the
hose or tank.

Do not smoke, eat or drink while using the
appliance.
■
Take measures to ensure that persons or an-
imals do not remain in the area in which you
are spraying.
3.3
Appliance safety
■
Use the appliance only under the following
conditions:
■
The appliance is not soiled.
■
The appliance show no signs of damage.
■
All controls function properly.
■
Do not overload the device. It is intended for
light work in the private sector. Overload can
lead to damage to the appliance.
■
Never operate the appliance with worn or de-
fective parts. Always replace defective parts
with original spare parts from the manufactur-
er. If the appliance is operated with worn or
defective parts, guarantee claims against the
manufacturer are excluded.

Repair work is only allowed to be carried
out by expert workshops or our service
centres.
4 INSTALLATION

Danger if assembly is not carried out
completely!
Operation of an incompletely assembled
appliance can result in serious injury.

Only operate the appliance when it
is fully assembled.
■
Do not insert the battery into the ap-
pliance until it is fully assembled.
■
Check that all safety and protective
devices are in place and functioning
correctly before switching on.
4.1
Attachment of spray lance (02)
1. Fit nut, connector and O-ring to the end of
spray lance (02/1).
2. Push the end of spray lance (02/1) into han-
dle (02/2) and screw tight with connector
(02/3). Pay attention to the correct seating of
the O-ring.
3. Screw nut onto connector and fasten finger-
tight.
