Presentation of the truck
LEC 1000 M/PST Plus is a pallet truck that lifts cargo similarly to
the classic hand-operated Lift-Rite pallet truck, however, with
the difference that the truck is now powered by an electric motor
for easy movement.
The truck has a maximum lifting capacity of 1,000 kg and fea-
tures an overload valve to prevent lifts that exceed the capacity
of the truck.
The motor is powered by two 12V batteries connected in series
to achieve 24V. Two fuses protect the motors and the steering
system against electric overloads. Additionally, a fuse has been
integrated in the battery charger cable to protect the charging
circuit against overloads. The fuses become accessible once the
battery cover has been removed.
The charger is connected to the charging connector on the truck.
During truck travel, this connector is blocked by the emergency
stop key. The charging cable can only be connected by depress-
ing and turning the emergency stop key. This disables truck
travel when the batteries are being charged.

Intended application of the truck

The truck is designed for transport of goods indoors on hard and
level surfaces.
Prohibited application of the
truck
It is not permitted to use the truck for purposes that it has not
been designed and produced for, e.g. the following applications:
- In areas that contain dust or gases which can cause fires
or explosions
- As a tow-truck for trailers
- To tow other trucks
- To transport/lift passengers
- To drive on gravel or grass
- in cold stores
