Intended use
This device is intended for measurements in the measu-
ring range specified in the technical data. The observan-
ce of this operating manual is also considered part of the
intended use.
Improper use
Do not use the device in potentially explosive atmosphe-
res, when wet or very humid.
No liability is accepted for damages resulting from im-
proper use. In such cases, entitlements to a warranty are
also forfeited.

• Electric shock from contact with live parts. Avoid all
contact with live parts during measurement. Secure
neighbouring live parts by insulating them or swit-
ching them off!
• Electric shock from insufficient insulation. Check the
clamp meter and the measuring cable for damages
and proper function before each measurement. Mea-
sure a known voltage source and check the result for
accuracy. If you determine that there are damages or
losses to one or multiple parts of the display, discon-
tinue measurement with the device!
