Suffi cient warm-up cuts have not been

Remedy
Charge the storage battery.
Get rid of the cause of the large load.
Allow the storage battery to cool
suffi ciently.
Wipe off oil or grime that is adhering to the
band saw blade or workpiece.
Install the band saw blade correctly.

by the manufacturer.
With the band saw blade operating speed
setting dial set to "1", perform 1 or 2 warm-
up cuts with a light cutting load such as a
cylindrical rod (carbon steel, etc.) with an
outer diameter of 3/4" or less.
