Operating mode
Once the antenna is installed, the operating mode
is chosen. The antenna has two operating modes:
passive and active, if power is supplied.
PASSIVE MODE: Without power, the antenna
works like a passive antenna, capturing UHF signals
(and VHF in the MIX version). Operating mode
suitable for locations near repeaters where the
signal level is good.
ACTIVE or intelligent MODE: When providing
power supply (range between 12 and 24V
antenna amplifies the received signals in both UHF
and VHF bands (MIX version). This operating mode
is recommended for locations where the received
signal level is poor.
Troubleshooting
