Selection of Exposure Mode

"Exponential"

"Standard"
Press the button in the light-blue field to select one
of the two exposure mode options. During exposure
the exposure mode selection button is inactive.
- In "Exponential" exposure mode, the LED in
the light blue field is ON and the exposure time
switches to 40 sec - 4 LED's in the dark-blue
field are ON. Switching from "Exponential" to
"Standard" exposure mode, the unit automatically
switches the exposure time back to the previous
setting in "Standard" mode.
- In "Standard" exposure mode, the LED in the
light blue field is OFF. Several exposure time
options are available in this exposure mode.

In "Exponential" exposure mode the exposure time is
automatically set to 40 sec; no other times are available
as options. Exposure times of 10, 20, 30, and 40 sec
are available options in "Standard" exposure mode.
The adequate exposure time of the product at hand
is stated in the product's Instructions for Use.
Select the exposure time by pressing the button in
the dark-blue field.

Activate the light by briefly pressing the Start button.

If it is desired to turn off the light before the preset
exposure time has completely elapsed, this can be
done by again pressing the Start button.
Full Light Intensity from the Start in
"Exponential" Mode
If it is desired to have the full light intensity available
in "Exponential" Mode for the entire 40 sec of
exposure time of a single exposure, press the Start
button of the handpiece for approx. 2 sec until a
signal is emitted.This indicates that the "Exponential"
Mode is turned off for the present exposure.
