3 Use

3.1 Charging the battery

It is essential to charge the battery for at least 2 hours before using the clippers for
the first time.
Charge the clippers at least once during the year following the date of delivery.
The battery reaches its full capacity after 3 or 4 charging cycles.
 Use
(see Fig. 1-M and § 5).
 When charging, it is recommended to switch off the clippers
(On/Off button in OFF position, Fig. 1-B).
Charging clippers from mains
 Insert the electrical lead into the socket of the clippers (Fig. 3).
 Connect the power pack (Fig. 1-M) to a mains power socket.
 During charging, the red indicator light (Fig. 1-D) comes on steadily and
the green indicator light (Fig.1-C) flashes. When the battery is fully
charged, the green indicator light comes on steadily.
The autonomy is about 210 minutes.
 When completely charged, disconnect the power pack. The clippers can
now be used without the electrical lead.
3.2 Operation
When first used, lubricate the blades by applying a drop of oil to the points shown
(Fig. 6b).
Switching on/off
 Switch the clippers on by setting the On/Off button (Fig. 1-B) to "ON".
The indicator light (Fig. 1-C) flashes.
 To switch the clippers off, set the On/Off button (Fig. 1-B) to "OFF".
The indicator light (Fig. 1-C) goes out.
Use with or without electrical lead
 With a new, fully charged battery, the clippers can be used without the
power lead for about 210 minutes.
The red indicator light rouge (Fig. 1-D) flashes before the end of the period of
only the power pack reference
