If necessary, use the NEXT button 2
to change to the CD changer display.
To play the tracks on the current CD in ran-
dom order,
u
press the softkey "MIX" 6 once or sev-
eral times until "MIX CD" is displayed.
Info line 2 F permanently displays "Mix
CD".
To play the tracks on all inserted CDs in ran-
dom order,
u
Press the softkey "MIX" 6 once or sev-
eral times until "MIX ALL" is displayed.
Info line 2 F permanently displays "Mix
All".
Cancelling MIX
u
press the softkey "MIX" 6 once or sev-
eral times until "MIX OFF" is displayed.
Info line 2 F no longer displays "Mix CD"
or "Mix All".
Scanning all tracks on all CDs
( Scan)
To scan (briefl y play) all the tracks on all the
inserted CDs in ascending order,
u
press the OK button B for longer than
2 seconds.
The next track will then be scanned. "SCAN"
and the current track number are intermit-
tently shown on the display.
Note:
You can set the scan time. For further
information, please read the section
entitled "Setting the scanning time" in
the "Radio mode" chapter.
Stopping Scan
To stop scanning,

briefl y press the OK button B.
The currently played track will then contin-
ue to be played normally.
Naming a CD (CDN)
You can name the individual CDs in the CD
changer for easier identifi cation. In addi-
tion, you can change or delete the name of a
CD. The device is capable of storing names
for up to 30 CDs.

To rename the current CD or change the
name of the CD,

The 7-character text input is displayed. The
fi rst character is highlighted.
