Cleaning and descaling
Wipe the outside of the base and jug with a damp
cloth only. Never immerse in water or place in the
dishwasher!
Regular descaling keeps the power consumption
and the boiling noise low, extends the service life
of the appliance and ensures that the appliance is
always in perfect working order.
Remove light staining or calcification inside the
jug with 10 % household white vinegar which has
been left to react for a while; or use
a commercially available descaler.
Remove heavy staining by bringing the vinegar to
the boil; this will of course produce a pungent
odour.
Rinse the jug, filter and cover with clean water.
