8. Do not use close to a heat source, e.g. an oven. Protect it from direct
sunlight.
9. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over
sharp edges.
10. Use accessories only approved by the manufacturer, otherwise you
risk voiding the warranty.
11. Use the appliance only in accordance with the instructions given in
this manual. This co ee grinder is intended for domestic use only.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper
use of this appliance.
12. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and

power supply away from children. The appliance may be used by
persons with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities or lack
of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or if they were
instructed how to use the appliance safely and understand potential
dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance.

Notes
• Check, if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to that of your power supply.
• Prior to turning the grinder on, place the lid on the grinder 2.
• Do not try to pull the power cord by force, the cord 7 is wrapped around the base 6 at the bottom of
the appliance, see g. G.
• Do not remove the lid 2 until the blades of the grinder come to a complete stop.
• Warning: Do not leave the grinder continuously running longer than 1 minute. This could cause
overheating and subsequent shutdown of the grinder by the thermal fuse. If that happens, let the motor
cool 10-15 minutes before you continue!
• Store the appliance out of reach of children.
Using the grinder
1. Pour the co ee in the container of the grinder (Fig. B). Do not over ll the grinder. You can use the lid of
the grinder as a measure, the maximum portion is approx. / of the lid (about 28 to 30 g).
2. Put the lid on, see g. C.
3. Plug the power cord in the wall outlet.
4. Hold the grinder with one hand and with the other press the power button 1, see g. D. The neness
of the grind depends on the length of grinding. Do not grind too long to avoid burning the grind. The
grinding takes about 30 seconds with maximum load.
5. Release the power button 1.
6. Unplug the power cord from the wall.
7. Tap on the lid to release the ground co ee stuck to the lid ( g. E). Then open the grinder ( g. F).
