Only pull the plug out of the socket when you have dry hands,
when the unit has been switched off and is not being used any
longer, and also do this when you have to clean the unit.
•
Do not use the device if the timer is not working correctly.
•
Consult your doctor first before using this unit if you have any
kind of pain or desease.
•
The treatment should be pleasant. Stop at once and consult your
doctor if you feel pain or the treatment seems unpleasant.
•
After 10 minutes of continual skin exposure, a 30-minute break is
to be taken. UV lamps should not be used more than 200 times
per year.
•
UV radiation can cause damage to the eyes and skin and result,
for example excess ageing and even skin cancer in extreme cas-
es. It is therfore strongly recommended that protective glasses
be worn. In individual cases, UV radiation can result in oversen-
sitivity to cosmetic products.
•
Remove all cosmetic products from the skin, such as moisturizer
and sunscreen, before use.
•
You must consult a physician before use if you are taking medi-
cation that makes you more sensitive to UV radiation (e. g. , St
John's Wort).
•
There must be a 48-hour long pause between 2 treatment ses-
sions.
•
Please consult a dermatologist immediately if skin irregularities
(minor lumps), skin pain or pigmentation changes such as moles
arise.
•
UV bulbs get hot during operation. Avoid touching them!
•
Always disconnect the device from the power supply and allow
the lamp to cool before touching it.
