Possible Solution
Make sure cord is plugged in and try to turn the unit on pressing buttons
on control panel and remote control. Check the circuit breaker or check
GFCI reset button.
Try to use remote control to see if unit responds
Check batteries.
Deep clean unit — remove calcium debris.
Change water flow control setting

Drain/refill with fresh water and/or clean water tank
Brand new media will initially emit an odor which will dissipate within
a week of initial use.
If the unit is not new, there may be an algae issue. Replace the rigid
media pads and clean the pads regularly.
