Safety precautions
• Locate the appliance in such a manner that there is a space of at least 50 cm between
the air outlet opening and furniture or walls.
• Do not insert any objects in the air outlet slots.
• Never cover the air intake and outlet slots with towels, clothing or curtains, etc.
• CAUTION: Do not operate in the immediate vicinity of baths, shows or washbasins.
Observe the protective distance in conformity with VDE 0100, Part 701.
• Always wait for at least 3 minutes between switching off and switching on again.
• Do not place the appliance on its side, and do not place any objects on the appliance.
• Children must only use electrical appliances under the supervision of adults.
• Never disconnect the power supply plug from the mains outlet socket by pulling the
cable.
• Never jam the power supply cable or pull it over sharp edges.
• Never use a damaged power supply cable.
• Always turn off the appliance after use. Disconnect the power supply cable and allow
the appliance to cool down before it is stored in a dust-protected place.
• Always disconnect the power supply cable prior to all repair and maintenance work.
• Do not use the appliance in the open air.
• Only clean the appliance with a dry or slightly moist cloth.
Disposal instructions
• Do not throw away the packaging and the appliance at the end of its service life, but
rather dispose of them in conformity with the corresponding guidelines of the local aut-
horities or responsible waste disposal company.
• Depose the packaging in collecting bins according to the given type of material so that
it can be recycled.
• When the appliance has reached the end of its service life it should be handed in at
the corresponding collecting point (e.g. refrigerators) envisaged for this purpose.
