Using AC Adapters
• The Parent Units can use either a 9 volt battery or standard 120 volt AC household current.
The Nursery Unit uses standard 120 volt AC household current only. The included AC
adapters must be used for this purpose.
• To use AC adapters, plug the connector on the cord into the AC adapter jack on the side of
the unit. Then plug adapter into a standard wall outlet.
• Use ONLY the Graco adapters included with the unit. Do not use these adapters with
other equipment under any circumstances.
• If units do not work, check that AC adapters are plugged into working outlets.
• When electricity is off (from a power failure, etc.), the transmitter will NOT work, since it only
operates on AC current.
• If the power light is off, turn the unit off and back on. If power light does not come on, replace
battery or plug in adapter.
Selecting Channels
• Check that both Nursery Unit and Parent 's Unit are set to the same channel.
• To change channel, slide Channel button to either X or Y on BOTH units.
Low Battery Indication
• When battery is low in the parent unit, the green power light will turn off and the speaker
volume will be muted automatically.
• You may either turn off the unit and replace the battery or plug in the A/C adapter.
• When the unit is turned back on the green power light will stay on and the volume will
return to normal.
