INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. These
precautions include:

and/or repair.

The use of attachments not recommended or sold
by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazards.
•
Do not use outdoors. Do not let the cord hang over
the edge of a table, counter or come in contact with
hot surfaces or leave exposed to high traffic areas.
•
To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet.
Never yank on cord.
•
Always use on a dry, level surface.
•
Do not operate fan until fully assembled with all
parts properly in place.
•
This product is intended for household use ONLY
and not for commercial or industrial applications.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
•
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance
is used by or near children, or incapacitated
individuals.
•
(For 120 NEMA 1-15P plugs only) This appliance
has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
DO NOT MODIFY THE PLUG IN ANY WAY.
PRECAUTIONS RELATED TO THE
USE OF TABLETS (TABLET NOT
INCLUDED):
•
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, nose and mouth.
Signs and symptoms of contact with eyes can
cause mild irritation; with skin can cause mild
irritation and dermatitis. If ingested, it can cause
nausea. If inhaled, it can cause mild irritation of the
respiratory system.
•
Before using the product, protect foods and kitchen
equipment/utensils.
•
Place fan with tablet within approximately one 1
meter (3 feet) of people and animals.
•
Once tablet has been used, it should be disposed.
Make sure to keep hands away from eyes, mouth
and nose until carefully washed.
•
Do not transport or store tablets near foods, kitchen
utensils, toys or clothing. Keep them in dry and
cool place.
•
Do not use them in rooms near individuals who
have asthma or other respiratory problems.
•
Do not keep them near persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or pets.
•
The hot tablet should not be touched and the
insect-repellent tablet diffuser compartment should
not be punctured with sharp objected or touched
with wet hands.
•
Hands should always be washed after handling the
tablets.
•
Read carefully and follow the important safeguards
indicated in the packaging of each brand of tablet
you use.
