ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Warning:
Before carrying out any opera on ensure
that the electrical power is disconnected.
The fan coil units are provided with the follow-
ing controls:
VMF-E0R for UL_R
VMF-E18R for UL_RI
In either case they are located on the right
hand side of the fan coil units (fi g.01) and
protected by a plas c box. The connec ons
have to be made directly onto the electronic
circuit board.

The wiring schema c showing terminal con-
nec ons for the electronic circuit board are
printed on the inside of the plas c box cover.

The unit must be connected directly to an
electrical connec on or an independent
circuit.
The fan coil units Omnia UL_R and UL_RI are
supplied with 230V/1/50Hz and earth connec-
on. The line voltage must remain within the
tolerance of ±10% of nominal values.
The power supply cable must be of type H07
V-K or N07 V-K with insula on of 450/750V if
protected by a conduit or tubing. For exposed
cables use double insulated cables of type
H5VV-F.
All cables must be protected by a conduit or
tubing un l they are inside the fan coil unit.
The cables exi ng the conduit or tubing must
be posi oned so they are not subjected to
tension or twis ng and must be protected
from external eff ects.
Wiring diagrams are subject to con nual
updates so it is mandatory to refer to those
on the unit.
For all connec ons refer to the wiring dia-
grams supplied with the unit and shown in
this documenta on.

All electrical works must be carried out by PERSONNEL WITH THE APPROPRIATE LEGAL QUALIFICA-
TIONS, trained and aware of the risks rela ng to such works.
The design of the cabling and related components must be carried out by PERSONNEL WITH APPRO-
PRIATE QUALIFICATIONS TO DESIGN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS, following interna onal and na onal
standards of the loca on the unit is installed in accordance with current legal requirements.
For installa on details refer to the electrical wiring schema cs supplied with the unit. The electrical
wiring schema c together with the manuals must be conserved with care and MADE AVAILABLE FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE.
The seals of the equipment must be checked before making electrical connec ons and the unit must
only be powered on comple on of all electrical and hydraulic works.
