Gas
Always use good quality gas and do not store it for more than 30 days, since this can damage the engine operation.
The tank has a 1 liter capacity, however, due to possible expansion, only 800 ml is recommended.
Let the engine cool for at least two minutes before refilling with gas so as to avoid the possibility of an explosion.
Never leave gas in the tank. Use the lawn mower until the gas finishes in order to prevent it from accumulating in
the carburetor.
Do not mix oil in the gas.
Drive
Engines equipped with "primer" fuel injector, press 3 times before the start-up.
Actuate the braking lever (1), [Fig. 11, Pag. 07].
Pull the driving cord until feeling a resistance and then pull it strongly (2), [Fig. 11, Pag. 07].
The work is performed keeping the lever pressed to the arm (3), [Fig. 12, Pag. 07].
To turn off, release the lever and the engine will stop immediately (4), [Fig. 13, Pag. 07]
Use on Step Terrain.
These lawn mowers shall not be used on lands with an angle higher than 20˚ (20˚ means a 2.7 m angle in a 10 m distance).
The lawn mower CC55M - 6 hp can be used on sloped areas, reaching up to 30º angle.
Setting the Cutting Height
The lawn mower CC40P has 4 cutting height positions: 25 mm, 40 mm, 55 mm or 70 mm.
The lawn mowers CC40M, CC45M, CC50M, CC55M have 5 cutting height positions: 20 mm, 32 mm, 48 mm, 58 mm or
72 mm.The adjusting devices are located next to the lawnmower wheels [Fig. 14, Pag. 08]. To adjust the cutting height it
is enough to move the adjusting rod pushing it out of the chassis in order to release it from the adjusting plate.
The lawn mower CCT45P has 5 cutting height positions. To set the cutting height, press the button located on the setting
lever, releasing it at the desired height [Fig. 15, Pag. 08], [Fig. 16, Pag. 08].
Notice the following when choosing the cutting height:
In order to make a low cut, the land must be flat, without undulations or holes otherwise the blade may touch the ground
impairing the engine output and damaging the lawn.
Operating the Traction System
To operate the equipment, pull the traction lever against the handlebar.
To stop, release the lever [Fig. 17, Pag. 08].
MAINTENANCE
!
For any kind of maintenance, turn off the engine and disconnect the sparking plug cable.
Oil change
1 - To replace the oil, the petrol tank has to be empty. To let the tank empty, keep the engine turned on until it is
turned off by the miss of petrol.
2 - Remove the oil stick and incline the lawn mower to let the oil leave the reservoir. PS: the oil leaves the reservoir
from the same place used to refill it and the oil has to be put in some container [Fig. 18, Pag. 09].
3 - Put the lawn mower on a flat surface.
4 - Refill it with 600 ml of oil SAE 20W50.
5 - Use the stick to check the level of the oil without treading it. The oil level shall reach the indication "full" marked
on the stick [Fig. 19, Pag. 09].
6 - Put the stick back and thread it completely.
