1. Place the fondue set on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
2. Fill the fondue pan with no more than 1.5 liters of oil or broth, suitable for fondues.
3. Place the anti-splash rim on the fondue pan.
4. Plug in the power cord.
5. Turn the thermostat knob to the desired position. The indicator light indicates that the heating element
is switched on. If the indicator light no longer lights up, the desired temperature has been reached.
Turn the thermostat knob to the MAX position for a classic meat fondue. Turn the thermostat knob
somewhere between the MIN and MAX position, for an Eastern fondue, fish fondue, cheese fondue or
chocolate fondue. To melt quickly and evenly, we recommend using shredded or grated cheese and
small pieces of chocolate.
6. Ensure that the liquid in the fondue pan has the correct temperature. The temperature is set correctly
when the liquid is bubbling slightly. If the liquid is not bubbling, the temperature is too low and if the
liquid is bubbling violently, the temperature is too high.
7. Dip the food (cut into slices / cubes) carefully in the pan, using the supplied fondue forks. Carefully
place the fondue forks in the notches of the anti-splash rim.
8. Make sure that the food is sufficiently cooked. Depending on the size of the pieces, this takes around
4-7 minutes. When the food is cooked, remove the fondue forks from the pan and place the food on
your plate. Never put the fondue fork directly in your mouth, this can cause severe burns.
9. When you're done fonduing, turn the thermostat knob all the way to the left (MIN position) and then
remove the plug from the socket.
WARNING:
Never mix water with oil. This can be extremely dangerous!
Frozen products must be completely thawed beforehand.
Make sure the products are thoroughly dry before they are fried. Moist products can cause the hot
liquid to splash.
Use extreme caution when filling and emptying the fondue pan and when removing and installing the
anti-splash rim. The inside of both parts are very hot and the hot vapor, grease or oil splashes can
cause burns.
